| Abstract: | This research focuses on corporate research libraries operating in a changing
environment. The last decade corporate research is aligning with the corporate business and seeks to collaborate with others. Open innovation is becoming vital. Corporate research is changing and the corresponding library should react and consider its course. Science in general
is changing because of the so called data deluge; in increase of data in certain fields. Digitalization and Internet developments are key drivers.
The goal of this research is to understand the information services that fit the
contemporary corporate research library in this changing environment by investigating the information needs and the current information services, from the viewpoint of an information model. Together with a customer satisfaction survey and some trends this will lead to several strategic recommendations for the corporate research library. |
