| Abstract: | The Open movements, such as open learning and open content, irreducibly contain a moral and a pragmatic element, much as Popper's political philosophy for an open society saw openness as an end in itself and a means to an end. Learning Networks as a conception harbour these two elements as well, in its attempt to provide new life to the notion of open learning while relying on open educational resources. |
