| Abstract: | The subject of this presentation is construction and validation of a criterion-based instrument for performance assessment of a series of complex authentic academic writing tasks. An ongoing study and the educational context of this study will be used as a general background for discussing construct validity, reliability and measurement issues in relation to writing performance and writing research. |
