Abstract: We are moving towards new learning spaces merging the digital and the physical world. Real world objects get augmented by information streams and real world activities are measured with sensor technology to be reviewed afterwards or in real time. A variety of links is currently created to link digital information, big data, every day activities and informal and formal learning. The workshop will give some examples of these linkages and the technologies used for these links as augmented reality, sensor technology, and ambient and situated displays. The participants will then create their own learning services using components and every day objects of their choice and will design mockups.
