| Abstract: | We describe research on learning path descriptions from the fields of e-learning standardization efforts, adaptive educational hypermedia and competence development programs. Various models are presented based on this research. Further, approaches to curriculum specification are described, and the use of IMS Learning Design for specifying curricula is explored. We conclude with a presentation of prototypic tools for editing and visualizing learning path descriptions. |
